Online networks within Early Childhood Education help connect the education and training community together using a variety of tools and services from edna.   Many of the online networks are public, however we recommend to register to gain maximum benefit.  There are also many private networks.

Early Childhood Australia Inc. (ECA)

ECA at http://www.earlychildhoodaustralia.org.au/ is a non-profit organisation that acts in the interests of children from birth to eight years of age and for older children in outside school hours care. It actively promotes the provision of high quality services for all young children and their families. ECA is also a leading specialist publisher of early childhood literature and publications. These publications include the Australian Journal of Early Childhood, Every Child magazine, and the Research in Practice Series.

 

NetAlert
NetAlert is Australia's Internet safety advisory body, established in 1999 by the Australian Government. NetAlert's role is to promote a safer Internet experience, particularly for young people and their families.

NetAlert is a not-for-profit community organisation providing free practical Internet safety advice, information and resources to Australian families and community.

NetAlert has a range of services which can be accessed free of charge, including distribution of Internet safety materials and an Internet safety start-up kit. NetAlert operates a national toll free Internet safety help line, which can be contacted on 1800 880 176 or by email at enquiries@netalert.net.au.
