How to browse

Some information is useful to specific educational groups
This information is sorted into sectors. The sectors are coloured to help indicate where you are in the site.

Some topics are useful across a range of sectors

Internal and external links

  • A full list of pages of the edna website can be found on the site map of pages. Click on links in the site map to go to the edna page you want.
  • A full list of categories and topics used to collect and sort external resources is available separately. Click on any displayed topic to see related sub-topics or links.
We are working to improve transparency between these two kinds of information.

Browse category search

You can use the browse information to fine-tune your searches.

  • Find a category you are interested in.
  • Search for a keyword(s) within your category. eg.
    • search for ‘ICT’ using the main edna search will provide results which contain ‘ICT’ from the whole of the edna repository.
    • search for ‘ICT’ within a category ‘Teacher education’ will deliver results to do with ICT in teacher education.

This can be a powerful search strategy for limiting the number of results by searching within a relevant sub-set of the edna repository.

  • If you search from within a specific sector this will limit your search to your sector’s resources only.
  • You can also search from a specific sector and choose a particular browse category to find your results.
