Register for all edna services
edna's registration process means you only have to register once for all edna services requiring authentication.
The following applications are part of this service.
* Note: you do not have to register to browse and search edna, only if you wish to contribute or view services with private access.
Registration
To register, click on 'Register', which is located at the top right-hand corner of any service page requiring registration.
Complete each section on the registration form as directed.
After you have submitted your details, you will be sent an email containing a link you must follow in order to complete your
registration. Once your registration has been completed, you will see a confirmation message on screen, and you will be automatically
logged in.
Logging in
Use the Login button, which is located at the top right hand corner of the service page you are using, e.g.
edna Lists homepage. You will be asked to enter your registered email address and password. Once you have entered these details,
click on the 'login' button. You will be taken straight to the edna Lists homepage.
If you have forgotten your password, enter your email address at the login screen then click on the 'forgot your password?'
button. Your password will be reset. You can have your new password sent to your registered email address or
to a different email address. If you would like your password to be sent to a different email address, you will
also be asked to provide your answer to the security question you selected when you registered. You will then receive your
new password via email. The email contains a link you can follow to reset your new password to one of your own choice.
Remember me
When logging in you have the option of selecting 'remember me'. Before selecting this option, please visit 'About remember me' on the right hand menu and read the information provided about this feature to ensure it is appropriate for you to use. You should only select 'remember me' if you are sure you will be the only person using your computer.
Logging out
To logout, click on 'logout', (top right-hand corner of the screen), then close any other browser windows you have open to access edna services.
'Logout' also ends your 'remember me' session and ensures your details are forgotten on that computer.
