Remember me

About remember me

What is remember me?

Selecting remember me when you login allows you to avoid having to enter your email address and password when you login, until you select logout.

How does remember me work?

Remember me works by placing a cookie on your computer that holds a unique identifier connected to your login details (username and password) but does not store your personal information. While active, the cookie remembers your login details. When you select logout, the cookie is no longer active.

How do I login if remember me is enabled?

If you have selected remember me, each time you visit one of the edna login services, you will need to click on the login link, but you will be automatically logged in without having to enter your login details (your email address and password).

How do I logout if remember me is enabled?

Selecting the remember me option when you login to the edna login services allows you to be remembered on that computer until you select logout. To logout and to disable remember me from working, you must select logout.

What if other people have access to my computer?

While you have remember me active, anyone using your computer can access your edna account, including your registration details.

If you are using a public or shared computer either at work or at home, be aware that selecting remember me could allow someone else access to your edna account and registration details. You should only check remember me if you are sure you will be the only person using your computer.

How can I be forgotten?

To be forgotten after you have selected remember me, you must select logout. You will need to select remember me again if you wish to be remembered on your computer again after selecting logout.
