A RSS feed is a summary of information or news published on websites. It is a simple technology that allows you to have content from other sites displayed in your own website and updated everytime the owner adds new information.
The RSS converter tool will help you format a feed's display with the information you want to use on your website. All you need to enter is the website address (URL) for the RSS source, and select the desired options within the tool. Be sure to use the preview button to verify the content and format. Once the content is displayed how you like, just use the generate javascript button to get your code.
The code can then be cut and pasted into your webpage.
If your site doesn't have RSS reading capacity, you can still use the RSS feeds, by converting them to javascript - in 3 easy steps:
-
Find the RSS source and copy the web address for the feed
-
Use the edna RSS converter tool to convert the RSS feed to javascript
-
Copy and paste the code into the html code of your website.
Where do you find RSS feeds?
|
The key for finding RSS feeds is to look for the rss icon that identify the RSS feeds, and rather than following the link, right mouse click (Windows users) or control-click (Mac users) to access the menu that allows you to copy the URL (website address)for the RSS feed. |
