News headlines

Use the HTML service to add edna news headlines to your website

edna has a range of news headline services that you can add to your website or news reader, depending on the technology you wish to use.

The news headlines promote, highlight or focus on Australian education and training information under the general headings of educational technology, information and communications technologies, learning technologies and technical standards. The News Headlines may also include events, conferences, opportunities, achievements, reports, research, pedagogy, curriculum materials, and policy decisions. This does not preclude international content, but the selection of international content is governed by its relevance to the Australian environment.

News headlines are updated daily, Monday to Friday.

The HTML option is a low technology solution.

Create News Headlines URLs

You can construct URLs to add edna news headlines using any of the news headlines parameters.

Example 1

URL using a news headlines sector - Adult and Community Education (ACE).

http://api.edna.edu.au/headline.html?sector=ace

In this example we are using the parameter 'sector', leaving all other parameters to their default values.
