Make a short url
Login and use the edna url tool to shorten a long URL.
Short urls are handy for;
- handouts for students, where someone might need to type it in;
- emails where having a short url which will fit on one line can be important;
- putting a link into a learning management system.
Step through making a short url

- go to edna url;
- login with your edna single sign on;
- put your long url in for shortening;
- type in the captcha words;
- press [Shorten it!].
