Plants and nature
The aim of this theme page is to raise awareness of the importance of plants in nature. It includes information on Australian native plants, the structure of plants and plant pictures.
National Tree Day takes place on the last Sunday in July. Since Tree Day started in
1996 more than 1.5 million volunteers have planted over 11.5 million
native trees and shrubs.
