Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) links
This website explains the revised Australian Quality Training Framework that came into effect in 2007. It includes a continuous improvement register, an RTO update, and a publication relating to the changes.

This website provides guidelines for the Workforce Innovation Program (WIP), which is a continuation of the National Skills Shortages Strategy 2004 to 2008. The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) initiative focuses on active engagement with industry.

Reframing the Future
Reframing the Future is a major workforce development initiative of the Australian, State, and Territory Governments. It assists in building the capacity of the Australian vocational education and training (VET) system to support the implementation of the national training system and the aims of the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) and its national reform agenda.

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Australia Limited is a ministerial company owned by the Commonwealth, State and Territory Ministers responsible for Training.TVET Australia was established in 2005 to provide responsive and high quality services to support the National Training System. Services include An integrated service to enable users of the national training system to identify and acquire training materials, identify copyright requirements and enter licenses for use of that material consistent with the scope and direction of the NQC.

Vocational Education and Training (VET) Glossary
This glossary contains terms (including abbreviations) likely to be found in recent literature of Australian vocational education and training (VET) research and policy. Where a term has a broader general meaning, the definition given refers to its use in the VET context. Many of these terms have been drawn from A glossary of Australian vocational education and training terms  from the National Centre for Vocational Education and Research (NCVER).

VOCED Thesaurus
This is the online version of the VOCED Thesaurus, used at NCVER to create index terms for the VOCED research database. It contains over 3000 terms related to VET, especially in the areas of research and policy. It is a valuable source of controlled terms for use as metadata, as well as enabling greater precision in VOCED indexing and searching.
