The Company 

This organisation has been located in Townsville since 1985 and has been trading under its new name of Advanced Industry Training (A.I.T.) since July 1990. It is the aim of A.I.T. to provide both skills and managerial training to Industry. We are a certified Quality Assured Supplier in accordance with AS/NZS 9002:1994. We are also an approved VETEC Training Organisation. 

The Instructors 

All Training staff employed by A.I.T. are in possession of the appropriate licences or Certificates of Competency in their various areas of expertise. In addition, they hold the necessary instructional qualifications to legitimately conduct structured training programs under the Training Guarantee Act 1990. A further requirement for A.I.T. instructors is that they have had significant industry experience. 

The Courses 

The courses provided by A.I.T. have been developed in conjunction with both Industry and the relevant Government departments/authorities. Feedback from both students and clients has resulted in adjustments where appropriate, and the success of the current courses is reflected in both safety and productivity gains within client organisations. Details of a representative sample of courses are provided in the following pages. 

The Clients 

A.I.T. has conducted training for both large and small private organisations as well as a wide range of Government Departments both State and Federal. If required, A.I.T. is able to place interested persons in contact with past/current clients to provide referee information.
