National Career Development Week 2009 May 18 - 22

National Career Development WeekNational Career Development Week (NCDW), now in its second year of running, is connecting more people to the skills they need to manage their career and life. In 2008, events across Australia are still taking place. NCDW took place from 2 to 8 June 2008.

Funded by the Federal Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR), NCDW is an initiative of the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA).

National Career Development Week aims to promote awareness of career development and to encourage all Australians to develop the skills to manage their careers, learning, work and lives in order to get the life they love.

CEAV Project Coordinator Part Time Position 2009

The Careers Education Association of Victoria (CEAV) is seeking to appoint a part-time Project Coordinator (Manager Professional Services) to coordinate and manage the extensive professional learning program and other projects undertaken by the CEAV during 2009. It is envisaged that the appointment will be part-time (0.4 to 0.6 FTE) commencing on 1 February until 31 December 2009. The salary is negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
