Current Projects

Web 2.0: Blogging, Wikis and Other Web Wonders for Early Educators
There are many free web tools available that can help early educators collaborate with others, share and manage information. The NAEYC Technology & Young Children Interest Forum will be sponsoring a "Web Wonders" discussion this spring to learn more about these tools, and provide opportunities to try them out. You are invited to join us!

A wiki documenting the project will be located here :
http://ecetech.wikispaces.com/

For each web tool, there will be:

  • Discussions about ,"What is it?" and "How are Early Educators using this in their work?"
  • A “hands-on” opportunity for people to try out that web tool.
  • Links to online examples of that web tool, of interest to the group.

Timeline

  • March: Wikis
  • April: Social bookmarking
  • May: Blogs
