Introduction
In March, 2003 Kirsty Sword Gusmao returned to Bendigo where she spent part of her childhood to launch 'The Friendship Schools Project'as part of her work with the Alola Foundation . This online activity is being developed to support Eaglehawk PS students and other schools interested in learning and understanding more about East Timor.
This Subject Sampler provides students with the opportunity to reflect on the recent history of East Timor through a series of images drawn by East Timorese students.

These could then be drawn and emailed to Lisa Hayman for feedback.
