Making the transition from highschool to university or from undergraduate to post graduate studies can be challenging
for many students.
Finding innovative ways to support those students can also be challenging. As fans of the yearly Mindset list produced by Beloit College in the United States will tell you, the tools that worked a few years ago might now be obsolete for the future class of 2011. For these students, the World Wide Web, texting and virtual realily have always been realities.
Dr. Megan Poore of the Australian National University's Academic Skills and Learning Centre decided to try podcasting to extend the Centre's reach and has some valuable insights to share on using podcasting as a communications and education tool.
