Course Information
The Diploma of Work Health and Safety (BSB51315) is nationally recognised and has been developed against the Australian Quality Framework for public health.
You will learn the core skills and knowledge required to manage and oversee all aspects of work health and safety (WHS) policies, processes, systems and programs within an organisation. You will learn how to manage and contribute to work-related health and safety measures and initiatives, the management of WHS risks, emergency procedures, WHS consultation and participation processes, and WHS management systems; manage and investigate WHS risks and incidents; and manage rehabilitation or return to work programs.
The course is designed to be completed within 12-months, but you have up to 24-months to complete your course. You will learn the knowledge and skills required to oversee all aspects of work and safety (WHS) systems, programs, policies and procedures. You will learn how to manage and contribute towards WHS safety measures and initiatives, WHS consultation and participation processes, and manage WHS risks and emergency procedures. The course will also cover WHS management systems and rehabilitation or return to work programs.
