The Certificate IV in Accounting course has been developed against the Australian Quality Framework for accounting. The course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to effectively perform accounting functions. The practical skills you will learn will equip you to perform the required financial calculations; prepare financial budgets, reports and statements; as well as carry out tax and payroll operations according to legislation.
The course is designed to be completed within 12 months and you will learn the knowledge and skills required to perform tasks in an entry-level role in accounting or financial services. You will learn about complying with the regulations of the financial services industry, how to prepare financial reports and budgets, and how to perform financial calculations. The course will also cover accounting and payroll systems, accounts and ledgers, as well as taxation requirements.
